International Conference on Traditional Architecture

The International Conference on Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism: Architecture and Community is coming. The Conference will take place on November 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and November 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (Madrid time, GTM+1). To participate it is necessary to register, free of charge, through the inscription form at this link. The access to this event will be enabled through the Conference website.

The program of the Conference is now available through this link and it will focus on a series of panel discussions on the selected topics. All participants are encouraged to participate, asking questions to the speakers, which seek to promote discussion and the exchange of experiences.

In addition, the presentations prepared by the authors of research papers, essays and works that have been included in the first issue of the Journal of Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism are already available on video on the website of the Conference.

This conference has been organized by INTBAU Spain, INTBAU Portugal, the Rafael Manzano Prize for New Traditional Architecture and the School of Architecture of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with the collaboration of Kalam, the Fundação Serra Henriques, the Escola Superior Gallaecia, the Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio, and the Centro de Investigación de Arquitectura Tradicional (CIAT-UPM).
